At Violet Vista Studios the process is straightforward: you send stems (or track in the Aurora room), we build the mix, and we revise until it feels right. There is no “one and done” pressure. The goal is a mix you are proud to release.

What a professional mix actually includes
Mixing is where separate tracks become a song. Levels, EQ, compression, saturation, effects, and automation are balanced so the vocal sits right, the low end is controlled, and the track still moves when played on phone speakers, car stereos, and studio monitors.
At Violet Vista the process is collaborative. You get a first version, you send focused notes, and we revise. The goal is not “one pass and invoice” — it is a mix you are willing to release under your name.

Local artists can attend the mix in Aurora. Many prefer to send stems and work remotely. Both paths use the same monitoring, the same engineer, and the same revision policy. Online clients receive the same care as someone sitting on the couch in the control room.

Different styles need different approaches — aggressive compression and parallel processing for metal, careful vocal rides and 808 management for rap, width and translation for electronic music. The ears adapt to the song.

How much is a mix?
$200 per song. If you need both, mix and master together is a flat $300 — the cheaper route.
Do I have to record at Violet Vista to get a mix?
No. Send your stems from anywhere and Danny mixes remotely — revisions until it sits right.
How many revisions do I get?
Enough to get it right. The mix isn't done until the song sounds like the record you hear when you close your eyes.
How should I export my stems?
Consolidated from the same start point, clearly labeled, and dry unless an effect is part of the part. Not sure how? Ask before you export.
